GRADUATE STUDENT AFFILIATE
Kenia is a first-year graduate student in the developmental area working with Dr. Jenalee Doom. She received a degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2015. Afterwards, she volunteered in the Marquette Autism Project lab for 3 years and worked as lab coordinator in the Child Neurodevelopment Research Lab for over a year. Broadly, her research interest focuses on how stress and social relationships influence health, especially among racial and ethnic minorities. During her spare time, she loves learning about animation/cartoon and learning how to dance bachata, cumbia, and merengue.
